SIMON MOLYNEUX
Originally from London England, Simon has over 20 years of experience as a competitive athlete where he competed at the national level in Swimming and Triathlons. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Simon worked as a Personal Trainer at Holmes Place Gym in London. He feels the time spent at Holmes Place allowed him the opportunity to understand the body and what its capabilities and limitations can include.
In 2006, Simon completed the International Therapy Examination Council Level 3 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy from St. Mary’s College in London. In February of 2011 he graduated from A New Beginning School of Massage in Austin, Texas.
Simon’s massage techniques include Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques and range of motion testing. The overall goal for Simon, in regards to massage therapy, is to promote blood flow through muscles which will reduce chronic pain, increase restricted range of motion and break down adhesions or scar tissue in the muscles. This will prevent further injury, allow the body to recover and get athletes and active people back in the game.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys eating Mexican food and BBQ, scuba diving, traveling, working out and spending time with his wife Sandy and their two Miniature Australian Shepherds Auzzie and Lola.
