Chiropractic Care
Dr. Kimberly Mullen graduated Cum Laude from Western States Chiropractic College in 2008, with an undergraduate degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. She comes to Austin from a multidisciplinary sports medicine and triathlon training facility in Portland, Oregon and has treated athletes of all ages and abilities, from recreational to Olympic hopeful. In addition to extensive work in both sports medicine and family practice, she has also worked as a treating clinician and rehabilitation specialist for low back pain research studies on both adolescents and adults. She believes strongly in the need for a multidisciplinary treatment approach, and works closely with physical therapists, medical doctors, and other practitioners to ensure the best possible care for her patients. As a three-time Ironman finisher and 24 hour adventure racer, she brings her passion for endurance sports into her practice and understands the unique needs of these athletes. In addition to extensive road and mountain bike racing experience, she also has experience in rock climbing, mountaineering, soccer, and snowboarding. She has two available practice locations, one in Round Rock at Active Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, and one inside Catz in North Austin.
Dr. Mullen is more than happy to discuss whether her treatment approach may be right for you, and welcomes a phone call or email to discuss any questions you might have. She accepts cash and most insurance plans.
